Senate scorecard: Umeh gets thumbs up from stakeholders

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Victor Umeh, has received widespread acclaim from stakeholders following his impressive performance in his first year as a member of the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to stakeholders who spoke in separate interviews with our correspondent, Senator Umeh’s achievements in the past twelve months have been outstanding by all standards.

They praised his effective representation of Anambra Central Senatorial District, robust defence of Anambra State and Igbo interests in the National Assembly.

Hon Ibuchim Kontact Ezekwelu, a Chieftain of Labour Party and National Coordinator of the Association of Concerned Non-Indigenes (ACNI), was among those who commended Senator Umeh’s performance.

Ezekwelu noted that the Senator has been very sensitive to the concerns of his constituents, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and challenges.

“Senator Umeh has done exceptionally well in his first year in office. He has shown himself to be a true representative of his people, always putting their interests first. His dedication to the interests of Anambra State and the Igbo nation are commendable.”

Ezekwelu’s sentiments were echoed by other stakeholders, including community leaders, traditional rulers, and political analysts.

They praised Senator Umeh’s ability to attract developmental projects to his constituency, his advocacy for the rights of his people, and his commitment to quality legislation.
