The recent visit by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu to Anambra state,has exposed a lot of things,says , Chief Modestus Umenzekwe,a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC
The APC leader in Anambra state and Southeast, described it as a blessing to the state and the entire Southeast.
Speaking with The Razor News Tuesday, Umenzekwe, said that empowering 500 indigent persons and helping Dr Nonye Soludo of Anambra state to empower another 5000 was a demonstration of the love the federal government has for the state and the zone.
The APC leader, therefore, commended the Governor ,Prof, Chukwuma Soludo for the good works he is doing in Anambra, affirming that the Progressives are indeed, working together.
Umenzekwe, said what Soludo has done in Achina community and some other areas in the state, showed he has the interest of the people at heart.
He added that he was talking as someone from Aguata local government area and not as a party man.
“The visit of Senator Tinubu to Anambra and what she did here shows her love for the state and Igbo. Not only that 500 indigent persons were empowered by the first Lady, she helped Soludo’s wife to raise the standards of 5,000 others.
“Her husband and the President,Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has made it clear that no part of the country will be left behind in the developmental strides of his administration, what he has done in the Southeast points to that.
“The applause given to the wife and the reception organized by the state government for her showed how the state appreciates her coming and the genuine love she exhibited to the people.
“I’m calling out our people to return the same love to Tinubu when the time comes.
“Anybody who does not appreciate what the first lady did and the work Mr President is doing in Southeast region should think twice ” the APC leader said
