The All Progressives Grand Alliance has warned the Anambra State
candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the November 6 governorship election, Senator Andy Uba and his supporters to stop intimidating officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission .

The National Co-ordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Media Warriors, Chinedu Obigwe, stated this in a statement made available to our correspondent in Awka, Anambra State.

Uba had accused the state Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr Nkwachukwu Orji of trying to frustrate his election petition against the governor-elect, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, by not availing him of the certified true copies of the election results and other relevant materials.
While condemning Uba’s allegations against the REC,. APGA said, ”
The only offence of the REC is that he played major role in the conduct of an election that was adjudged by Nigerians and international communities to be the freest, fairest and most credible election ever conducted in the country.

The statement read in part, “Anambra November 6th election was applauded by lovers of free and fair election including President Muhammadu Buhari that is the leader of APC, Andy Uba party.

“So intimidating the REC must not be condoned and should be condemned.

“The Andy Uba campaign organisation has been threatening to unleash mayhem in Anambra by re-introducing their politically motivated insecurity in Anambra State over their claim that the REC refused to give them the CTC documents of the November 6th governorship election.

“I have always maintained that the demonic Andy Uba and his blind followers are anarchist and blood suckers. They feel happy by inflicting pain on hapless ndi Anambra.

Obigwe added:

What concerns Ndi Anambra and their demand for INEC to give them CTC documents of the November 6th governorship election that will warrant them to be saying that teir alleged actions of the REC is capable of triggering insecurity in the State.

This is a threat taken too far and should not be swept under the carpet.

As for the allegation they levelled against the REC, I will describe it as a politically motivated allegation that is aimed at attracting sympathy for Andy Uba as the sore loser of the November 6th governorship election.

All they wanted to achieve with the politically motivated allegation they levelled against the REC is to paint him black in the eyes of the general public but they have failed.

Since they claim to be law abiding citizens, they should take lawful steps to get what they want from INEC and stop raising false alarm.

The November 6th governorship election has come and gone and the winner is Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the God ordained Governor elect of Anambra State.

Nothing on earth can truncate the mandate given to him by ndi Anambra.

Andy Uba campaign organisation can cry from Anambra to Egypt but they should be rest assured that nothing good will come out of their politically motivated crying.

They should leave the REC alone because he did not do anything.

Like I said before, we the APGA faithfuls and diehard supporters of Soludo are ready to defend his well deserved victory at the Court.

We will beam our searchlight at the Court starting from the tribunal to Supreme Court and will follow events at the Court with keen interest for us to see how the imo State political abracadabra will be replicated in Anambra.

We are boldly telling Andy Uba and his evil cohorts that Anambra no be imo State and will never be imo State.
