Any moment soon, Honourable Ebele Ejiofor may no longer be the lawmaker representing Anaocha ONE Constituency.

Anaocha ONE Constituency is made up of four communities in Anaocha Local Government Area, Viz: Agulu, Ada Ani, Adazi Enu and Adazi Nnukwu.

This is because over 1000 members of his constituency have called for his removal from the Anambra State House of Assembly.

As a consequence, registered voters in Anaocha ONE State Constituency have moved to recall him for poor performance in the legislature and sundry allegations.

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and signed by different individuals from the Constituency explained that the reason for his recall is because of poor representation, non performance , abuse of legislative privileges, non-involvement and consultation with the constituents before voting in some constitutional issues.

The letter/petition addressed to Independent National Electoral Commission has the signatures of no fewer than 964 registered voters within the constituency.

A source said the lawmaker was seen sobbing while complaining the development to a strong stakeholder in Anaocha.

Efforts made by our correspondent to get the lawmaker for his reaction were abortive as he did not pick his calls nor reply to our correspondent’s text message in that respect.
