The Medical Director, Princeton Specialist Hospital and Orthopaedic Center, Awka and candidate of Zenith Labour Party(ZLP) for Oyi/Ayamelum federal constituency in 2023 general elections, Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu has congratulated Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, as he turned 62 years on Thursday.
Dr. Nwachukwu, in a statement he personally signed in Awka lauded Soludo, for putting aside partisanship in picking the gauntlet to provide leadership for the state at this very critical time in the history of the state and the nation.
He described governor Soludo as urbane, cerebral leader of great value, proven financial manager and a committed progressive, who is concerned about the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Anambra State.
The renowned surgeon extolled the sterling and legendary contributions of the Professor of Economics to the sustainable development of the Nigeria’s banking sector when he held sway as CBN governor between 2004 to 2009 and as a member of General Muhamadu Buhari-led Economic Advisory Committee, saying they are testaments to a first-rate mind.
According to the Federal House of Representatives’ hopeful, “Soludo had since assuming office as governor of the state demonstrated immense courage and determination to protect the lives, property of ndi Anambra and economic vibrancy of the state.
“Since assumption of office as the state governor in mid March this year, Mr. Governor, you have faced head-on in ensuring and providing leadership and direction for ndị Anambra when it mattered most and we are entirely grateful to you.
“Indeed, you are renowned for your economic insights, and the phrase ‘Soludonomics’ still rings a bell across Nigeria’s economic space. Your revolutionary changes in the banking sector, which are testaments to a first-rate mind, stand out as econometric milestones till the present day.
“As an indigene and investor in the state, I am glad to know that you are beginning to win our admiration with your people-oriented governance geared toward yielding massive dividends of democracy, business-friendly environment and lasting security architecture for all and sundry.
