2025: Soludo Volunteer Force Re-establishes Gov’s Popularity In Anambra East

As the race for the next governor of Anambra in 2025 general election begins to gain momentum, it is becoming increasingly clear that Soludo has established an unassailable lead in popularity and governance despite not being focused on his re-election yet, indicators and records undeniably affirm his likely victory at the 2025 gubernatorial election, hence a support group propagating the actualisation of the second-term bid of the governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo CFR, under the aegis of Soludo Volunteer Force (SVF), had taken significant steps to reestablish Soludo’s strong grip over Anambra East LGA.

This move was demonstrated when some officials of SVF paid a familiarity visit to Chief Ugochukwu Obiefuna (Akalaka Umueri) at his family residence in Awka to honour him and his lovely wife with the positions of Patron and Patroness of the group.

Speaking during the induction ceremony, the Convener, Soludo Volunteer Force (SVF), Mr. Ozoemena Mike (Nzeakonobi) while appreciating Chief Ugochukwu for his huge support, thanked the DCOS to the Governor for his warm welcome and reception and also for happily identifying with the SVF family, noting his significant contributions to the growth and progress of the group, prayed that God will continue to sustain and empower Chief Obiefuna and his family to continue with their good works.

He pointed out that the decision of the group to honour Chief Obiefuna with the position was based on the unwavering trust he has on the unblemished character of Governor Soludo, noting his love, dedication, loyalty and commitment to the Governor and added that he fully believes that Chief Ugochukwu will help Soludo ensure total victory in Anambra East communities.

Mr Ozoemena asserted that Governor Soludo has established several accomplishments, which he believes has already laid the groundwork for positive economic transformation, thus setting up a new governance standard not just for Anambra but for Nigeria as a whole, hence establishing the governor’s unchallenged dominance in Anambra’s political landscape.

Also in a spectacular display of political unity and grassroots support, the Deputy Chief of Staff to Mr Governor of Anambra State and the Chief of Staff to the National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Chief Obiefuna thanked the group for finding him worthy of the honour as a Patron” and announced that he is proud to identify with SVF, noting his interest on any group or agenda that has to do with Governor Soludo and his APGA led administration. He commended the exceptional leadership qualities of the Soludo Volunteer Force Convener, Hon. Ozoemena, describing him as a household name in Anambra and further promised to continue to support the group to succeed on her mandate.

“If you examine the five pillars of his administration and his vision for the state, you will affirm that Mr. Governor has done marvelously well. It is, therefore, very important to recognize his commitment to progress and fostering a prosperous homeland for Ndi Anambra and a brighter future for all,” Chief Ugochukwu said.

Chief Ugochukwu also commended the SVF family for their remarkable love, sacrifices & unwavering support evidently displayed in their commitment to the leadership abilities of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s APGA led administration. He further urged the group to remain focused, strong, resolute, and committed and working assiduously towards ensuring landslide victory for the workaholic Professor come 2025 Anambra governorship election.

In their separate appreciation speeches, the National Organizing Secretary, who is also a Senior Special Assistance(SSA) to Governor Soludo on Project Monitoring, Engr. Azubuike Umeh and the Awka South SVF Coordinator, Nze Yahweh Okoye unequivocally declared that there is no doubting that Ndi Anambra has unequivocally chosen Governor Soludo as their leader, citing his unmatched prowess and the absence of credible rivals in the upcoming polls. They both expressed belief that continuity is crucial to building upon the initial gains made in the first four years and assured of their unwavering support and commitment to the success of Soludo reelection bid.

The SVF National Welfare Director, Comrade Nweke Ugochukwu, Deputy Welfare Director, Chioma Ifediora and the National Media Director, Comrade Icheku Anthony Chidera amongst others were also present during the visit.
