The National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, Mr. Chinedu Obigwe, has called on the Igbo people to reflect deeply on the remarks made by Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, during a recent gathering of political stakeholders in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Obigwe described Governor Soludo as a visionary leader committed to the development of Anambra State and the advancement of the South-East within the Nigerian federation.
According to him, the governor’s remarks at the Abakaliki meeting contained important political lessons that should guide the region’s approach to the 2027 general elections.
Obigwe said Soludo’s position at the gathering demonstrated his belief in constructive engagement and strategic political alignment aimed at securing greater benefits for the South-East.
He urged Igbo leaders and citizens to carefully consider the governor’s counsel and avoid actions that could undermine the region’s political interests ahead of the next electoral cycle.
The APGA chieftain maintained that Soludo’s intervention was intended to encourage pragmatic politics and foster stronger participation of the South-East in national affairs.
He further expressed confidence in APGA’s prospects in future elections, particularly in Anambra State, noting that the party remained focused on consolidating its achievements and expanding its electoral support base.
Obigwe reiterated his support for the governor’s leadership and called on the people of the South-East to engage in thoughtful reflection on the issues raised at the Abakaliki gathering as preparations for the 2027 general elections gradually gather momentum.
