2027: Obidient General partners City Boy Movement to drive grassroots votes for Tinubu[VIDEO]

Two prominent political support groups rooting for the reelection of President Bola Tinubu have forged a partnership to work together to woo votes from grassroots for the president’s  reelection in 2027.

The groups; Obidient General Worldwide Team and City Boy Movement forged the partnership on Wednesday when the coordinator of Obidient General Worldwide Team, Mr Ikenna Azomchine visited the new headquarters of City Boy Movement (CBM) in Abuja.

Azomchine who addressed the press after the visit described their partnership as one that is built on common goal, which is to go into the grassroots to preach Tinubu  and ensure that voters cast their votes for him in 2027.

He said: “We paid a courtesy visit today to the city boy headquarters.You guys know why I left, we have watched the president do what we criticized him about and we are confident that joining the ruling party is the only answer.

“The City Boy Movement has also agreed that we can join them to fight this common cause of ensuring that Tinubu wins reelection.

“So all of you out there, you need to know where we stand now. So as campaigns start, get ready to see us at the grassroots, Obidient General Worldwide Team and the City Boy Movement will be campaigning vigorously in your area for President Bola Tinubu.

“Campaigns will start soon and I want to say that we are ready. As Obidient General, I want to tell you that the decision has been concluded and we are moving the Obidients to Mr President to ensure his reelection.

“It has already been concluded and it is not as if we are starting today. It is a signed and sealed deal. We prepared before we came and I am happy that the City Boy Movement is already doing similar things, so that makes it easy. What I will simply do is to bring Obidient General Worldwide Team and partner with City Boy Movement and we move into the grassroots and work to bring into the consciousness of the people what Mr President is doing in Nigeria.

“Don’t forget that grassroots is key in this game and that is where our strength lies and that is why I made this visit today to come and partner with our brothers.”
