The senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah has said that the generosity of the chairman of Chrome Group, Sir Emeka Offor has transformed many lives.
Ubah stated this in a letter he wrote to Offor, on the occasion of his 65th birthday celebration.
The letter is below…
On behalf of my family and good people of Anambra South Senatorial District, I join the world to celebrate not only your remarkable milestone but also the incredible impact you have made as a great philanthropist and Rotary International Polio Ambassador to Nigeria. On this special day, we celebrate your dedication and unwavering commitment to the betterment of humanity. Your selfless contributions to society have been nothing short of extraordinary. Through your philanthropic endeavours, you have provided hope, support, and opportunities to those in need. Your generosity has transformed communities, empowering individuals to rise above adversity and achieve their dreams, and your tireless efforts have not only saved lives but have also paved the way for a brighter future for generations to come.
As the Rotary International Polio Ambassador to Nigeria, you have played a pivotal role in the fight against polio. Your leadership and advocacy have been instrumental in raising awareness, mobilizing resources, and implementing effective vaccination campaigns, and your unwavering commitment to this cause which was commended through an official letter addressed to you and personally signed by former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has brought us to a polio-free world as confirmed by the United Nations Health Agency, the World Health Organization (WHO) on August 25, 2020.
Beyond your role as a Polio Ambassador, you have exemplified the true spirit of Rotary International through your philanthropic endeavours. Your generosity has touched the lives of many, providing education, healthcare, and empowerment opportunities to those in need. As we reflect on your remarkable achievements, it is my prayer that God in his infinite mercies continues to guide and protect you, and may he bless you with more years of wisdom, grace and good health.
