A former President of the Onitsha Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Okechukwu Akaneme, has allegedly been paralyzed by police officers and operatives of the Anambra State Waste Management Authority (ASWAMA) during a revenue drive.

This disturbing incident was revealed by Chief Uche Nworah, Convener of Anambra First and member of the Board of Administrators.

Chief Nworah stated that Mr. Akaneme’s paralysis resulted from the physical manhandling he suffered at the hands of the authorities.
