Catholic music composer, Jude Nnam still in kidnapper’s custody – family insists

Popular music composer, Jude Nnam who is credited for composing most liturgical songs in the Catholic is still in kidnapper’s custody, his family has said.

Nnam was kidnapped in Anambra on Thursday evening around Dunukofia area.

There have been rumours on social media that he has been released by his abductors, but his family has debunked the news.

A post on the social media handle of Nnamdi, which was credited to his family said the news of the release was fake, urging prayers for the composer.

The message on his Facebook handle read: “Dear Friends of Dr. Jude Nnam, we want to appreciate you all for your prayers and concern for Him.

“Meanwhile, the message circulating the social media that he has been released by his captors is false and misleading

“He is still with the abductors. By the Grace of God we all shall rejoice when he eventually comes out. Do continue in your prayers and support.

“God bless you. From His Family.”

THE RAZOR had upon the news of his kidnap reached out to police authorities in Anambra State, who denied that such cases had not been brought to its attention.
