The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), the apex socio-political youth group in the Southeast, has extended heartfelt birthday felicitations to the senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Victor Umeh, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.

In a press release issued on Friday and signed by the group’s President General, Comrade Goodluck Ibem, and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Okey Nwaoru, COSEYL described Senator Umeh, popularly known as Ohamadike Ndigbo, as “a true servant-leader whose impact transcends party lines and geographical boundaries.”

The youth group commended Umeh’s role in the 10th National Assembly, noting that his legislative activities have been anchored on integrity, justice, and the pursuit of progress for the people of Anambra Central and the Igbo nation at large.

“Senator Umeh has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to the progress of his senatorial district.

“His contributions in the Red Chambers are commendable, as he has not only represented his constituents with integrity but has also been a champion for the issues that matter most to the people he serves,” the statement read in part.

COSEYL particularly praised Umeh’s advocacy for development, youth empowerment, and social justice, which they say continue to inspire the younger generation across the Southeast.

“His visionary leadership is evident in the numerous initiatives he has spearheaded to improve the quality of life for his constituents. His work has earned him admiration and respect across Anambra and beyond,” the statement added.

The group said Senator Umeh’s passion for public service remains a beacon of hope and inspiration to Igbo youth, calling on young people in the region to emulate his commitment to purposeful leadership and community development.

“As we celebrate this significant milestone in his life, we recognize Senator Umeh not just for his birthday but for his unwavering spirit and determination to uplift the lives of others,” COSEYL stated.

The group wished the senator continued good health and success in his public service journey, expressing confidence in his continued impactful contributions to the National Assembly and the Southeast region.

“Happy birthday, Ohamadike Ndigbo! May the year ahead bring you abundant joy and further opportunities to lead and serve,” the statement concluded.
