The coordinator of Obidient Movement Worldwide, Mr Ikenna Azomchine who is popularly known as Obidient General has paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Yilwatda Nentawe.

Azomchine who was a staunch supporter of presidential hopeful, Mr Peter Obi said the visit to the home of the national chairman was to blend with the APC team and properly align with them to deliver President Bola Tinubu in next year’s presidential election.

He addressed members of Obidient Movement who have not properly moved their support to Tinubu to immediately do so, claiming that he has moved round and seen the light about what Tinubu was doing in the country, and urges them not to waste their time in supporting any other candidate.

While being received by Yilwatda, Azomchine said: “Today I paid a courtesy call to the APC National Chairman, and I want to tell all Obidient that we have seen the light. I urge them to stop the rhetorics. Obidient General is here and I have seen the truth and I want to tell you that rhetorics will not solve the problem. I am in Plateau State, North Central Nigeria and I am telling you the things I have seen.

“I’m happy to be a part of the family and I’m confident that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will have a sail through in 2027.”

Azomchine, a strong grassroot mobiliser recently moved his support from Mr Peter Obi to Tinubu after claiming that he worked for the then Labour Party candidate without any result or any on ground plan to win the election.

Obidient Movement as a political group was responsible for the huge success LP gained in 2023, but in the build up to next year’s election, Azomchine has been moving from one state to another, inaugurating support groups to work for President Bola Tinubu’s reelection, while steering supporters of Obi away to his new principal, Tinubu.
