Four passengers sustained varying degrees of injury while eight escaped unhurt in a motor accident in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The crash which occurred near Agulu lake involved white Toyota Hummer bus with registration number: XZ320PHD and a white Toyota Hiace bus with registration number: MKD 974XB.
According to eyewitness, the crash was as a result of break failure, which led to loss of control.
“The Enugu South Transport company vehicle failed brake and lost control, as the driver was trying to maneuver, he crashed into the oncoming vehicle,” the witness said.
Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Adeoye Irelewuyi who confirmed the crash, said no death was recorded.
He said the four injured persons are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
While wishing the injured quick recovery. Irelewuyi urged motorist to ensure their vehicles were in order before hitting the road, and to excercise patience while driving on high ways to avoid unnecessary traffic crashes.
