Anambra poll: CP meets political parties, sues for peace.

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, has held a meeting with political parties participating in the the November,6 governorship poll in the state.

AS POLITICAL CAMPAIGN STARTS IN ANAMBRA STATE: CP TONY SUE FOR PEACE

In an effort to sustain the existing public order and public safety in the state, the Commissioner of Police, *CP Tony Olofu, today 22nd of September, 2021, has sue for peace and tolerance among political parties as he interacted with the Parties representative in Anambra State Police Command, Awka.

The *CP* is assuring the good people of Anambra State that the Police is committed to working with other patriotic stakeholders toward ensuring public order in the State before, during and after the political rallies.

Meanwhile, the *CP* being the head of internal security in the state shall always be on ground to coordinate the security deployment and ensure all things being equal the rallies shall be hitch-free.

The *CP* therefore, calls on members of the general public to coordinate themselves and cooperate with the security agents in the course of discharging our constitutional duty.
