The National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration and the Anambra Police Command for their remarkable success in combating criminality in the state.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Obigwe praised the security agents for their outstanding performance, which has led to the arrest of high-profile criminals and the recovery of weapons used in perpetrating crimes.
According to Obigwe, the recent success of the security agents is a testament to Governor Soludo’s zero-tolerance policy on criminality, which aims to sustain and enhance the state’s developmental projects.
“Let’s roll out the drums to celebrate Governor Soludo administration and Anambra Police Command for the recent commendable success they recorded in the battle against criminality in our State,” Obigwe said.
He criticized armchair critics who deliberately ignore the successes recorded by the security agents, instead choosing to politicize crime incidents to score cheap points against the governor.
“Armchair critics on the payroll of political elements will always turn blind eyes to the success being recorded in the battle against criminality in Anambra State by our security agents because they earn a living from the spread of bad news about Anambra State,” Obigwe noted.
“But we will be forcing good news of Governor Soludo administration success story in the battle against criminality in our state down their throat,” he added.
Obigwe also noted that Governor Soludo’s administration is executing many developmental projects for the transformation of Anambra State.
“It is a well-known fact to Anambra people that Governor Soludo administration is executing many developmental projects for the transformation of our beloved Anambra,” he said.
He commended the security agents for their efforts in combating criminality in the state.
“For the past two weeks now, our security agents are doing marvelously well in their battle against criminals in the state. They have arrested many high-profile criminals and recovered the weapons they are using to perpetrate criminality in our state,” Obigwe said.
He described the recent success of the security agents as worth celebrating.
“For me, the recent success of our security agents is worth celebrating. It’s only sponsors of criminality that turn blind eyes to the good work our police are doing and report criminal incidents in a celebratory manner instead of condemning it,” Obigwe noted.
He condemned those who politicize crime incidents to score cheap points against the governor.
“Those that do this are enemies of our state and should be treated as such. Most especially, those that politicize crime incidents in our state to score cheap political points against the Governor, I see them as wicked souls that do not have a conscience and not supposed to live among humans,” Obigwe said.
He expressed confidence that Anambra people will enjoy a crime-free Christmas and New Year celebrations.
“With the success recorded by Police and other security agents in the battle against criminality in our State, it’s now obvious that Anambra people will enjoy a crime-free Christmas and new year celebrations,” Obigwe said.
