APGA Chief Tells Edozie Njoku to Pay N60m Court Fine, stop rabble rousing

By Our Correspondent

The National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors’ Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has advised Edozie Njoku, the erstwhile purported national chairman of the party, to accept his fate and stop rabble rousing.

Obigwe’s statement follows Njoku’s boast that Anambra people would speak out against Governor Chukwuma Soludo in next year’s election.

Obigwe countered that Anambra people would instead vote massively for Governor Soludo in appreciation of his good work.

“The impostor Edozie Njoku does not have any other option but to accept the nailing of his political coffin by the Supreme Court,” Obigwe said, adding “As for his boast that Anambra people will speak loudly in the next election, the assurance I’m giving him is that the loud statement Anambra electorate will make on November 8th, 2025, governorship election will be in favour of Governor Soludo.”

Obigwe asked Njoku to pay the N60 million fine imposed on him by the Supreme Court for using deception to embark on forum shopping in different lower courts in Nigeria.

“If the impostor Edozie Njoku is expecting Anambra people to vote against Governor Soludo in 2025, disappointment awaits him and his cohorts because Anambra electorate will definitely use the election to say thank you Governor Soludo for his administration’s good work in our State by voting massively for him,” Obigwe said.

Obigwe further stated that Governor Soludo has fulfilled his campaign promises, transforming Anambra State with unprecedented development projects.

He noted that the new Government House/ Governor’s Lodge project is almost completed, and the Solution Fun City will be opened to fun-seekers in December. Additionally, over 500km of road projects have been awarded, with about 350km completed.

Obigwe also highlighted the provision of free education to children from primary to secondary school level, payment of WAEC fees for some secondary school students, recruitment of thousands of teachers for government schools, and provision of free ante-natal and delivery services, including caesarean sections, in all government hospitals.

He also mentioned the transformation of Okpoko into a modern city with a newly built General Hospital, construction of new General Hospitals in Enugu-Otu, Ayamelum, Anambra West, and Fegge in Onitsha South, equipping of Umueri General Hospital, Enugu-Ukwu General Hospital, and Ekwulobia General Hospital, recruitment of medical personnel in government hospitals, revival of the Anambra Water Scheme, and empowerment of youths through the 1Youth2Skills initiative.

Obigwe expressed confidence that Anambra people would re-elect Governor Soludo for another term in 2025, citing his impressive achievements in various sectors.

“We know the coward from Anambra that funded Edozie Njoku and his cohorts’ dirty game, and they will be checkmated as moles to avoid sabotaging the well-deserved 2nd term re-election of Governor Soludo,” Obigwe said.

“The truth is that our beloved Governor Soludo touched all sectors of governance, and the good people of Anambra will re-elect him for another four years on November 8th, 2025, to enable him to continue his good work in the state,” Obigwe maintained.
