A chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chinedu Obigwe, has ridiculed Edozie Njoku following the Supreme Court’s decision to sack him as the national chairman of the party.

Obigwe, who had been vocal in his opposition to Njoku’s leadership, expressed his sentiments in a statement made available to our correspondent.

“My prediction about the impostor has come to pass,” Obigwe said, referring to Njoku’s removal from office.

“My prediction that the impostor Edozie Njoku and his cohorts’ dirty games will be nipped in the bud has finally come to fruition,”Obigwe added.

The Supreme Court’s ruling, which awarded N20 million in costs against Njoku for filing a frivolous suit, has brought an end to the prolonged leadership crisis within the party.

The court’s decision has been hailed as a victory for the rule of law and a testament to the judiciary’s commitment to upholding the constitution.

Obigwe commended the justices of the Supreme Court for their decision, saying it has put an end to Njoku’s “dirty games”
and restored confidence in the party’s leadership.

He also praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo, who had been accused by some of trying to destroy APGA, saying his leadership has been instrumental in shaping the party’s vision and values.

With the Supreme Court’s ruling, the coast is now clear for APGA to focus on the forthcoming November 8, 2025, governorship election.

Obigwe expressed optimism that Governor Soludo will secure a well-deserved second term re-election victory on the platform of APGA.

Obigwe’s statement read in part,’The truth is that I was merciless in my media attack against the impostor Edozie Njoku and his cohorts to the extent that someone in their camp that I know very well decided not to allow me to rest.

“He will always call to preach to me to stop attacking the impostor Edozie Njoku and also preach to me on the need for me to sheathe my sword.

“But my faith in Governor Soludo ability to ensure that justice prevails at last made me not to listen to him or any other person.

“People of little faith were hoodwinked by the impostor Edozie Njoku dirty games but those that are not of little faith continued following Governor Soludo and Barrs Sly Ezeokenwa leadership of APGA with the hope that justice will definitely prevail on the APGA leadership tussle case.

“Those saying that Governor Soludo mission is to destroy APGA and defect to APC have been put to shame with this latest Supreme Court judgement and those saying that President Tinubu is behind the impostor Edozie Njoku dirty games have now seen clearly that there is nothing like that.

“The coast is now clear for us that are Governor Soludo ardent supporters to focus on doing everything possible for him to secure a well deserved 2nd term re election victory on the platform of APGA in the forthcoming November 8 , 2025 governorship election.

“The Supreme Court did not mince words in telling the whole world that Edozie Njoku was never APGA national Chairman.

“It is finished for the impostor Edozie Njoku and his cohorts.

“If you are with Governor Soludo, there is no shaken because he is not someone that will allow soap to enter his eyes and the eyes of his followers while swimming in river Niger.”
