Barely two months after Chinedu Nwoye was accused of destabilizing his home community, Nawfia, in the Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, a group has alleged again that he is causing disaffection amongst members of an organization championing the cause of the Anambra State governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.

Nwoye a.k.a Glamour , who is the Deputy Chief of Staff/State Chief of Protocol to the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, was therefore asked by the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), Soludo Support Group (SSG), Eze-omenyilioha Basil Osuokwu,
to withdraw an incendiary press statement he recently issued, and apologize to the SSG leadership.

About two months ago,Igwe Chijioke Nwankwo of Nawfia in the Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, had accused Glamour( Nwoye) of destabilizing the Nawfia community where.

Igwe Nwankwo therefore appealed to the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, to call Nwoye to order over his obviously meddlesome roles in the Nawfia traditional stool.

.He said Glamour and one Clems Aguiyi were two Government officials fueling the Nawfia traditional stool crisis by their implied and express support of Chief Ogochukwu Daniel Obelle who recently began to parade as the traditional ruler of the community despite a court order stopping him to so do.

He said the tacit consent accorded to Chief Obele by the two government officials ( Glamour and Aguiyi) had emboldened and given him( Obelle) the effrontery to always disobey constituted authorities with the make-believe that the state government was fully behind him in his claim of Nawfia Igweship.

In the recent imbroglio, the Soludo Support Group said, in statement signed by the Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT), Nze Eze-omenyilioha Basil Osuokwu, condemned Nwoye’s press statement.

The group’s statement read in part,”Our attention has been drawn to the press statement credited to the former National Coordinator of Soludo Support Group (SSG), Mr. Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour) wherein he falsely accused the National Coordinator of SSG, Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, the National Youth Leader of SSG, Dr. Charles Ebulue and a BOT member and founder of SSG, Dr. Chidi Okoye (PhD) of sundry infractions and further descended to the use of derogatory language that we find unacceptable and despicable.

“SSG no doubt has been passing through a turbulent phase which started shortly before the 2021 governorship election and taking to further heights after the election. We had hoped that the reunion exercise would have normalized the turbulence but Mr. Chinedu Nwoye’s dispositions have not helped matters.

“Soludo Support Group remains a dedicated group advocating and propagating the gospel of Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo and it is a well structured political organisation with established hierarchy of leadership.

“No one is against our principal and Mr. Chinedu Nwoye should not hide under the name of our principal to advance his personal fight with the members and leadership of SSG.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the press statement issued by Mr. Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour) and hereby direct Mr. Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour) to within 24 hours withdraw the press statement and tender unreserved apology to the leadership of SSG.

“I also direct that no SSG member should further write or comment based on the press statement. All members are directed to remain calm as we make effort to resolve the issues.”

Efforts made by our correspondent to get the reaction of Nwoye did not yield any fruit as he did not pick calls made to him .
In a WhatsApp message sent to him in that respect, he simply replied: Ok.
