Fathers’ Day: Senator Tony Nwoye extols fathers, hails their roles in society

The Senator Representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Dr Tony Nwoye has greeted fathers of the Roman Catholic Church as they mark the 2024 occasion of Fathers Sunday.

Reflecting on the critical and pivotal roles fathers play in the family, Senator Nwoye said that fathers are the first line examples for what becomes obtainable in society because they play very important role in leaving a mark through their actions and inaction, from which building blocks for society are formed.

The Senator’s message read in part,”Today, we honour all fathers who stand tall and strong, whose love knows no bounds and whose hug, every smile they share is a testament to the love they bear.”

“Fathers teach, guide with patience and grace, in their true embrace, we find our safe place. With hands that toil, with hearts that mend, their love endures until the very end.”

“Happy Fathers’ Day to the anchor of our families, the one who leads with love and wisdom. Your strength, guidance, and endless support are gifts beyond measure. Today, and every day, we celebrate all Fathers and all that they do.”

While further described fathers as protectors, heroes and mentors.

The Senator prayed the Almighty God to continue to protect, shield, and guide all fathers to live a life that would be pleasing unto God as they strive to be the strength of their families and fortitude to lead their household.
