Reps member appoints Atu Agulu as Chief Constituency Officer

The member representing Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia in the House of Representatives, Hon George Ibezimako Ozodinobi (Aja-Ajanze) has appointed Chief Nathaniel Anigbo ( Atu Agulu)as his Chief Constituency Officer(CCO).

Ozodinobi is the Minority Whip in the House of Representatives.

According to a release made available to our correspondent on Monday, Anigbo, will man Ozodinobi’s constituency office at Abagana in the the Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Comrade Anigbo, a quintessential social mobilizer and celebrated master of ceremonies (MC) was a former state chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Anambra State Council.

During his reign as the state Chairman of NUJ , he procured the land wherein the current NUJ Secretariat situates.

He also facilitated the registration of Anambra State journalists in a National compendium of “who is who” in Nigerian journalism.

He worked very closely with the then NUJ President, Smart Adeyemi, who later became a Senator of the Federal Republic Nigeria for Kogi State.

Anigbo later retired as a senior information officer with the Federal Ministry of Information.
He is the Immediate past Vice President of Agulu People’s Union(APU)

He is a native of Ukunu, in Agulu, Anaocha LGA of Anambra State. He was once chairman of Ukunu village.

He studied Psychology and Journalism in the University.

He is happily married with children.
