Emotions are running high in Amawbia as the neighbours prepare farewell for Stanley Chuka Anikpe, a 45-year-old father of four who tragically lost his life in the recent Eke Amawbia building collapse.

The burial ceremony, scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2023, will be a poignant celebration of Anikpe’s life, with friends, family, and well-wishers expected to attend and offer their condolences and support to the grieving family.

Anikpe’s wife, a newly recruited teacher, and their four young sons, all under the age of 10, will be at the forefront of the mourners, struggling to come to terms with the loss of their loving husband and father.

His friends and neighbours are soliciting donations to support the education and well-being of Anikpe’s children, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to thrive.

As the community prepares to bid farewell to Anikpe, memories of his life and legacy will live on through his children and the impact he had on those around him.

Anikpe will be laid to rest in his hometown of Ikenga Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
