Chinaza who believes in Glamorous and Chic Style; an up-and-coming fashion designer said she is set to captivate the heart of many with her fashion sense and multi-fashion talent.

She said: “It was never an easy decision for me to make, being a tailor/fashion designer in Nigeria, is one of the most challenging and difficult decision to make.

“You have to deal with disapproval from your parents, because most Nigerian parents would love their children to choose a profession like being
a medical doctor, a lawyer, an Engineer, nurse etc, so you have to go beyond every reasonable doubt to prove yourself.”

When you talk of breaking boundaries Ms. Anastesia Chinaza doesn’t limit herself when it comes to fashion. She fully embody herself with knowing everything that needs to be known about fashion, from pattern drafting to cutting and sewing to neat finishing.

It might interest one to know that Ms. Anastesia sews all kinds of male and female designs (Ready to wear, native wears, wedding dresses and so on).

She also makes African print handbags, fascinators and head gears. She believes fashion is an integral part of our day to day life, and in some cases dictates our social circle, which is the reason she always participates in important social activities.

She told THE RAZOR that she has designed for contestants in local beauty pageants, showcased in a national fashion show “Anambra fashion expo”.

In her own words: “I believe fashion includes numerous things and is strictly not confined to one aspect
of life, that is why I’m always open to collaborate with boutiques and fashion brands both nationally and
internationally.

“Some boutiques in Uk that saw my designs on Instagram reached out to me for collaboration and I’m happy to work with them for a greater good.

“I want to expand my brand both nationally and internationally. I know is going to be very challenging but what is a good success story without challenges. I want my brand to be known globally, I want Jack and Jill Fabrics and Luxury House to be a brand recognized globally.

“I have put in so much work to see to its success, making sure my customers all around the world shop with ease, that is why I have a website they can go and shop my ready to wear collections.

“So far so good, I would say that I’m doing so well for my brand because in as much as my brand is up and-coming, I have designed for celebrities, I have designed for Caz Chidiebere a Nollywood actor, director and a producer. I have also designed for Okoro Blessing, the number one relationship therapist in Nigeria, so I’m happy and proud of myself. I know I will design for more celebrities in the nearest future.

“My advice to up-and-coming designers like me is to never stop believing in themselves and their work. Never limit yourself, make sure your work is well articulated and neatly finished, and properly presented.”
