Priest Commends Onitsha Indigenous Catholics for visibility in Basilica Parish

The Associate Rector of the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity,Onitsha,Rev Fr John Ezeanowai,has commended members of the Onitsha indigenous Catholic association,Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Parish ,Onitsha,for their commitment in activities of the parish inspite of their few membership.
Fr Ezeanowai the commendation while interacting with members of the association after their end of year thanksgiving at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity,Onitsha last Sunday.
According to Fr Ezeanowai,the visibility of the members irrespective of their few numbers reminds the priests and faithful of the sweet memory of the peaceful reception of early missionaries in Onitsha by the indigenes which has transformed the the Archdiocese and Southern Nigeria in general.
A patron of the association Barrister Christopher Anyaegbunam,thanked the priest for his kind words to the members of the association and also for hosting them.
Present on the thanksgiving are,the chairman of the association Sir Tata Odunze,the spokesman,Sir Victor Ononye and others.
