Widow seeks expedited justice for murdered hubby

Mrs. Blessing Kingsley, who lives at No. 2 Show light street, Nkpikpa, Ogbaru, has called on the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to carry out expedited and thorough investigations into the death of her hubby, Kingsley Ogbonna, who was allegedly murdered.

She alleged that her husband was hit by a co-tenant, whose name is name Friday Francis, when the duo were engaged in heated verbal exchange during a meeting of tenants, who live in a building situated at No 2 Show light street, Nkpikpa, Ogbaru.

Kingsley Ogbonna was taken to hospitals for treatment. But he was certified and pronounced dead at Bex hospital, Owerri road, Obosi after the medical personnel at Emmanuel hospital Nkpikpa, Ogbaru had failed to revive him.

The homicidal act was reported  and registered at Okpoko police station. And members of the NPF swung into action and apprehended Friday Francis, who allegedly caused the death of Kingsley Ogbonna.

The matter was, later, taken to Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Awka for further investigation, which will lead to the arraignment of the alleged killer.

Mrs. Blessing Kingsley, who has become a widow owing to the unexpected demise of her husband, is calling on the NPF to expedite investigation into the death of her husband to unearth the truth about it in order that the cause of justice will be served.

The young widow, who has two sets of twins-four children- is disconsolate and discombobulated owing to the death of her hubby.

“My world has turned upside down. I cannot stop crying.

“I don’t know who will help me. In fact, I am helpless.

“So I still watch the door and expect it to swing open so that my husband will walk in”‘ Mrs. Kingsley said.
