With the 2025 Anambra Governorship election fast approaching, APGA stalwart Hon. (Dr.) Nwanyikaibie Obiezeoba has declared Governor Charles Soludo’s administration the most impactful in the state’s history, urging Ndị Anambra to rally behind his reelection bid.
Hon. (Dr.) Nwanyikaibie Obiezeoba made this statement in response to the activities of candidates from opposition parties ahead of the November 8, 2025, Anambra State Governorship election.
She criticized these opponents for downplaying the transformational, people-centered leadership of Governor Charles Soludo instead of acknowledging the significant achievements recorded within his first four years in office.
Hon. (Dr.) Obiezeoba, who is also a renowned native doctor, emphasized that the Governor has proven his leadership through numerous life-changing projects executed across various parts of the State, including Onitsha, Akpaka area, Ogbaru, Ekwulobia, and Awka. These projects, she said, stand as verifiable testaments to Soludo’s pragmatic commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the people.
She further commended Governor Soludo for empowering thousands of youths and for employing a significant number of teachers and medical practitioners. According to her, these strides are clear indicators that the Governor has performed beyond expectations and therefore deserves maximum support for greater achievements ahead.
Recall that Governor Soludo has consistently told the people that what he has achieved so far is merely a tip of the iceberg compared to the bigger plans and life-changing projects in the pipeline.
Hon. (Dr.) Nwanyikaibie Obiezeoba therefore called on all candidates from opposition parties, including APC, PDP, YPP, and others, to align with the ruling party instead of engaging in unnecessary political distractions. She stressed that Governor Soludo is proactively working towards building a habitable, sustainable, and prosperous homeland for all.
“The opposition contestants should be patriotic enough to tour the various projects Governor Charles Soludo has executed across Anambra State. Check the records and give him maximum support. There is no need to clamour for better leadership when we already have the best. No other Governor, from the days of old Anambra till now, has achieved more than Governor Soludo has done in just four years. He deserves our collective support for continuity,” Hon. Dr. Nwanyikaibie Obiezeoba stated.
She also urged the people to get their voter’s cards ready, not just to vote but to protect their votes and ensure they are counted in the November 8 election for Governor Soludo to continue the good work he has started in Anambra State.
