APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF PAUL CHUKWUMA ESQ. AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL (SOUTH-EAST), TINUBU SUPPORT GROUP (TSG)
The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Chief Paul Chukwuma Esq. as Deputy Director General (South-East).
The appointment reflects his leadership experience, grassroots engagement, professional background, humanitarian contributions, and commitment to national development and democratic governance.
Chief Paul Chukwuma is a distinguished professional and public figure whose academic and leadership credentials span philosophy, law, business, politics, education, humanitarian service, and institutional governance. He earned a First-Class degree in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and subsequently obtained a First-Class degree in Law from Baze University, Abuja.
He further holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property and IT Law with Distinction from the University of Derby, United Kingdom. He is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School and was called to the Nigerian Bar in July 2025.
He previously served as the National Auditor on the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC).
Chief Chukwuma has also participated actively in Nigeria’s political process. He was the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election, giving him direct experience in electoral politics, political organisation, stakeholder engagement, and grassroots mobilisation.
His leadership credentials extend to the education sector, where he has served as Pro-Chancellor of Benue State University since June 2024. He is also the Founder and Pro-Chancellor of Olivia University, Bujumbura, Burundi, reflecting his commitment to educational development and institution-building.
Beyond his professional and political engagements, Chief Chukwuma has demonstrated a strong commitment to humanitarian service and community development. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Sir Paul Chukwuma Foundation, through which he has contributed to initiatives focused on supporting individuals and communities.
He is also a Charter President of the Rotary Club of Umueri and a recipient of the Arch Klumph Society (AKS), the highest recognition within Rotary International, in recognition of his contribution to the organisation and its humanitarian ideals.
His appointment as Deputy Director General (South-East) is expected to further strengthen the Tinubu Support Group’s organisational structure and engagement across the region. He will work with the leadership of TSG and other stakeholders to deepen coordination, mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement across the South-East.
Chief Chukwuma’s combination of academic excellence, legal training, political experience, institutional leadership, educational development, and humanitarian service brings a broad range of experience to his new role within the Tinubu Support Group.
