The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Somtochukwu Udeze has described Dr.Onyechi Ikpeazu as an outstanding legal luminary who has continued to use his legal profession to champion the cause of humanity.
In his Goodwill Message to Dr.Ikpeazu on behalf of the State Legislature as he marks his birthday,Rt.Hon.Udeze maintained that the renowned Senior Advocate of Nigeria has made Nigeria and Anambra State proud in view of his numerous accomplishments in the legal profession.
The Speaker who expressed satisfaction that Dr.Ikpeazu has through sound legal training and glorious practice, become a legal reference authority in Nigeria, extolled his candour, courage, wisdom as well as experience which he has continued to exhibit in the law courts.
He enjoined other legal practitioners in the state to aspire to attain the heights of Dr.Ikpeazu by upholding the tenets of the profession at all times.
Rt.Hon.Udeze while recollecting the giant contributions of Dr.Ikpeazu to the growth of democracy in Nigeria, commended him for his efforts in solving various legal issues which have helped greatly in shaping and strengthening the political system both in Nigeria and Anambra State.
Describing Dr.Ikpeazu who is also the General Overseer of Our Saviour’s Church as a true man of God,the Speaker prayed God to continue to give him more grace, knowledge,sound health and longevity, even as he wished him a happy birthday celebration.
