Former footballer Ejike Eze, popularly known as “De King,” has stepped forward to motivate players of Solution Football Club, Anambra State, with cash rewards following their recent victories in the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Eze’s first cash gift came after Solution FC secured a 2-0 victory over Kun Khalifat FC at Awka Township Stadium. He repeated the gesture when the team triumphed 4-1 against Madiba FC at Awka City Stadium, further boosting the morale of the players.

Speaking to Sports writers, Ejike Eze commended both the players and club officials, urging them to maintain their winning form. He also made a passionate appeal to Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, to prioritize the welfare of the team. According to him, the players are putting in their best efforts despite financial struggles and deserve better support to enhance their chances of securing promotion to the top tier of Nigerian football.

As a committed supporter of Solution FC, Eze, who is also a member of Awka All Stars and the club’s pioneer supporters group, hinted at plans to lead a protest through the streets of Awka and the Government House. His aim is to draw attention to the team’s needs and push for improved welfare for the players.

With Solution FC competing in the highly competitive NNL, stakeholders believe that better financial backing and government intervention could help the club achieve its goal of promotion.
