NNAMDI AZIKIWE UNIVERSITY IS NOT RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS FOR ANY POLITICAL PARTY
The attention of the Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has been drawn to a fake facebook account fraudulently opened by some unknown persons used as platform for recruiting of 1000 volunteers for political parties and their candidates in Anambra State.
For the avoidance of doubt, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has no facebook account nnamdi azikiwe university.unizik and is not involved in any such recruitment for anyone.
The Management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University frowns at the flagrant use of the University’s name and Logo to carry out activities incompatible with the mission and vision of the University.
Let us reiterate that anyone or body within or outside the University who wishes to use the name of the University, logo or name of its officers for any advertisement of any sort must first get authorization prior to such use.
These perpetrators are warned to desist from these illegalities or have themselves to blame.
