Soludo youth group begins distribution of coconut, palm seedlings

Youth Earnestly Seek Solution (Soludo), YESS has commenced the distribution of coconut and oil palm seedlings to her members.

Performing the function in Awka, the Convener, Dr Nelson Omenugha who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment Programme said that YESS has never failed to key into the progressive agenda of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

He harped on the importance of agriculture and called on youths to wake up and stop seeing agriculture as a business for the old.

Dr Omenugha emphasized that coconut and oil palm economy being enthroned by Governor Soludo which has witnessed the distribution of over one million seedlings in the past one year will be an economic game changer for ndi Anambra.

He urged those that received it to ensure they utilize them optimally by “planting upon receiving”.

Dr Omenugha further thanked Governor Soludo for being youth friendly as most of his policies captures the interest of the youths.

He advised youths to desist from any act capable of destroying their future and ensure they contribute positively to the development of Anambra State.
