The People’s Redemption Party, PRP Anambra State chapter has said the party has been cleared by the Iindependent National Electoral Commission, INEC to participate in the forthcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election.
The party which had its congress for the election of the state executive committee in Awka said with the election of its officials, it is now set to participate actively in all elections across the country.
The chairman, national convention committee, PRP, and representative of Balarabe Musa, the national chairman of the party, Engr. Patrick Akindunlu says the party is credible and has positioned itself to provide solution to numerous problems facing the country.
He said the party will feature a candidate for the 2017 governorship election in Anambra State.
The newly elected party officials, speaking through the state chairman, Mathias Aninwachukwu expressed optimism that the party would deliver on the promises of its founding fathers hinged on improved standard of living to the citizenry .
They however charged citizens of Anambra to support the party’s future candidates assuring that the legacy of its founder who is the national leader as governor of old Kaduna state would be replicated in the state.
