DRAMA AS PHILANTHROPIST STOPS FLAVOUR FROM PERFORMING IN AWKA, CHASES HIM OUT
Popular musician, Flavour was today(Sunday) humiliated in Awka as he made to hit the stage with his music.
The Flavour Nabania cronner was to perform at the 50thbirthday ceremony and 15th Anniversary of the foundation of an Anambra philanthropist, Dr Mrs Nkoli Imo of Adadioranma Foundation.
Trouble started for flavor when as at 3pm, he was still yet to arrive, despite that his boys had set up their musical equipments and the guests were already itching to have him play.
Consequent upon his lateness, a local musician was brought in to play and usher in the celebrant, almost immediately after, Flavour arrived the Emmaus House venue of the event.
Though it was not clear if Flavour had been held back by circumstances beyond him, but despite his lateness, he refused to hit stage when he arrived, instead insisting on being given security because a large crowd of young people besieged his car when his arrival was announced.
Flavour hopped out of his car and made straight to the musical stand where his boys were and squeezed himself into a corner, almost shying away from the barrage of camera phones that tried to pick him out.
Unknowing to him, the celebrant was already unhappy with him, and when he made to begin his performance, the celebrant objected to his playing, citing his arrogance, lateness and the near emptiness of the VIP stand.
The celebrant ELEKENEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM further gathered was irked by the fact that his special guests which included Senator, Members of the house of reps and other top politicians had taken their leave before Flavour finally accepted to play.
“Tell him not to play any music here, and let him get prepared to give me back my money”, the philanthropist bellowed at Flavours Manager who tried to approach her.
Meanwhile, a crowed was already gathering at the venue as people from their homes who heard the artiste was in town abandoned everything to come get a glimpse of him and were disappointed that he was not able to play at last.
While some of the spectators blamed Flavour for his arrogance since he attained stardom and praising the woman for humiliating him, others cursed the philanthropist for not letting their idol play.
ELEKENEWS.BLOGSPOT.COM gathered that Flavour had been mobilized with over N3million for the show, and balance was still awaited.
It was a thoroughly humiliated Flavour that was led back to his car by security agents at about 5pm after all pleas by his managers, security men and aides of the philanthropist for him to play failed.
