The Chairman, Anambra State Council of Traditional Rulers and the traditional ruler of Obosi Kingdom, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, has admonished land developers and real estate business men in Anambra State to conduct their businesses with honesty, and embrace peace, too.

He made the call during the Ground Breaking Ceremony of Raphmaths Seaview Estate, which took place at Amansea-Awka, Anambra state, recently.

Igwe Iweka, who was the Chairman of the occasion, said that it had become very imperative for land developers and real estate business men to emulate Chief Ojiribe, who does his real estate businesses, honestly and peacefully.

He revealed that his relationship with Chief Ojiribe, who started his real estate business in Obosi, dates to over thirty years ago, saying that he had not become the traditional ruler of Obosi, then.

Igwe Iweka further said that Chief Ojiribe is the only land developer and real estate businessman in his area, who has not brought land case to him for adjudication since he ascended the royal throne.

” The chairman of Raphmaths, Chief Rapheal Ojiribe, who hails from Uruala in Imo State, is my son. And he is an honest, peace-loving, and hard working man, who fears God.

“I have known him for over 30 years, and that was before I became the traditional ruler of Obosi. In fact, he started his real estate business at Obosi, which is my town.

“If we have twenty land developers in Obosi, it is only Raphmaths, Ralph Ojiribe, who does not bring cases of disputed land matters to my palace.

“He is an honest man, who is doing well. So he is worthy of emulation. That is why I came here today.

“So I am urging other land developers and real estate business men to emulate him,” Iweka said.

More so, Igwe Iweka, who was accompanied to the occasion by the secretary of the Anambra state council of Traditional Rulers, Igwe Charles Agbala of Uke, advised Igbo people to imbibe the Think Home Philosophy, and invest in businesses, which are in their ethnic homeland.

“You should invest in businesses, which is in your ethnic homeland before investing in businesses, which are outside it as what you invested outside your homeland cannot be equated to what you have in your homeland,” Iweka said.

More so, the Anambra State governor, Prof. Charles Soludo, equally harped on the need for Ndigbo to bring their investments home.

“In fact, Ndigbo should bring the greater part of their investments home. That is the way to go for any Igbo man doing investments.

“That’s why we must extoll Raphmaths Estates Chairman and Chief Executive, Chief Raphael Ojiribe, for always thinking home. He invested in businesses in the Igbo states and even in Delta state,” Soludo said.

Governor Soludo, who was represented at the event by the Anambra state Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, stated that his government was working hard to stamp out land grabbing in the state, adding that genuine land developers and investors should do investments in the state without entertaining fear that they would be defrauded.

Earlier in his welcome address, Chief Raphael Ojiribe, who is the chairman of Raphmaths Estates, described the event as a ground breaking one, and the physical manifestation of visions, beliefs and sacrifices.

“When we started Raphmaths Estates, we did not just start a real estate company, we started a movement, one that would redefine development in the South East.

“It is a movement that will prove that world-class infrastructure is not exclusive to Lagos, Abuja, or overseas. we want to show that It can happen here. And it is starting to happen now,” Ojiribe,” said.

He said that their goal at Raphmaths Estates is to build estates that meet foreign standards while remaining accessible to serious investors and families who want security and peace of mind.

“We are not just selling plots, we are building environments: controlled developments, structured layouts, modern homes, and secure communities,” he said.

Ojiribe further stated that his vision was to transform Raphmaths Estates to become the most trusted, sophisticated, and dominant real estate development brand in the South East.

“Our goal is to become the most trusted and dominant real estate development brand in the South East.

‘ And we will achieve that not by making noises, but by results. Let this groundbreaking symbolize something deeper.

“Let it symbolize growth in this community. Let it symbolize jobs. Let it symbolize appreciation in property value. And let it symbolize generational wealth,” Ojiribe said.

Other dignitaries who attended the event were Hon. Peter Aneke, who represents Anambra East and West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives; Hon. Gwacham Maureen Chinwe, who represents Oyi/Ayamelum federal constituency in the House of Representatives; the Director, Town Planning, Anambra State, Mrs Ifeyinwa Onyechi, and many members of Igwe in Council of Igwe Chimeleze of Amansea Awka.
