All is now set for the End of Year Celebration, Christmas Party and Installation of New Patrons of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Anambra State Council.
The triple event holds on Wednesday, 21st December, 2022 at the Godwin Ezemo International Press Centre, NUJ Secretariat Awka, behind Central Bank Building.
According to a release signed by the Chairman of the NUJ, Anambra State Council, Comrade Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, the event promises to be the mother of all events in the Council which features the Installation of New Patrons of NUJ, Revalidation of Old Patrons, and Recognition of the NUJ Veterans.
Other key attractions in the event are the presentation of Prof Chinyere Stella Okunna Award for Ethical Journalism 2022, Lecture, Raffle Draw and Indoor Sports among others.
The NUJ, Anambra State Council’s triple event will be chaired by the former INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Imo State, Prof. Emeka Ezeonu while the Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof Ngozi Chuma-Udeh will be the special Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker.
Consequently, all old Patrons of the Council, Veterans, Members and Associates are invited to attend the event.
