Easter: Like Christ, we’ll triumph over hardship, Umeh tells constituents, others
The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Chief Victor Umeh, has said Nigerians will triumph over the prevailing
economic hardshipp in the country.
Umeh stated this in his Easter message to the people of his constituency, Ndi Anambra and Nigerians in general.
He enjoined all and sundry to endeavour to share in the joy of Easter despite the biting economic conditions in the nation.
The Senator’s message signed by himself read in part, “My dear people of God, here comes another Easter, a time to remember and celebrate the ultimate sacrifice of God for man’s redemption.
“At Easter, we celebrate Christ’s triumph over death and his wondrous resurrection from the tomb where he was laid. That is the basis of our Faith as Christians!
“Therefore, I urge all my beloved people of Anambra Central Senatorial District, Ndị Anambra entirely and people of God everywhere to endeavor to share in the joy of Easter despite the biting economic condition in the nation.
“Let us bear in mind that by His victory over death, we too can be victorious and triumphant even in most difficult situations and in hopelessness.
“As we go on as Christians, spreading this amazing love of God to one another especially to the downtrodden and poor amongst us, may the peace of God and the love of Christ which surpasses human understanding be with you and yours always, amen HAPPY EASTER.”
