Frontline Aspirant for the Dunukofia, Njikoka and Anaocha Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Barrister Prince Chukwudi Oli, popularly known as Ọba Ezeafia Anaocha, has paid glowing tribute to mothers, describing them as invaluable pillars of both the family and society.
In a goodwill message to mark the 2026 Mother’s Day celebration, Oli extended warm felicitations to members of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO), commending their dedication to family values and community development.
He described mothers as “priceless gifts to both the family and society,” noting that their daily sacrifices, resilience, and nurturing roles remain critical to building stable homes and a compassionate society.
The federal constituency hopeful urged women, particularly members of the CWO, to remain steadfast in their roles as partners in progress, emphasizing the importance of their contributions to moral upbringing and social cohesion.
“On this special day, I celebrate the Catholic Women Organization and all mothers in Dunukofia, Njikoka, and Anaocha. I urge you to keep playing your noble role in building a better society through your dedication in your homes,” he said.
Oli also used the occasion to honour mothers across the constituency, wishing them a joyful Mothering Sunday celebration filled with God’s abundant blessings.
Mothering Sunday is widely observed within Christian communities as a day set aside to appreciate and recognise the sacrifices and influence of mothers in both the home and society.
