The Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District, Sen. Dr. Tony Nwoye has felicitated with His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi as he wins the Sun’s Political Icon of the Year Award.
While giving plaudits to Mr. Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party in 2023 general election, the distinguished Senator affirmed that Nigeria remains proud of the former Governor whose political ethos has been characterized with strong advocacy on accountability, transparency and prudence in governance as his candidacy and emergence has been nothing short of revolutionary, steering the Labour Party to significant victories across the nation, as well as his unique adeptness at galvanizing support and advocating for change round the country.
