thugs loyal to Capital Oil and Gas boss chief Ifeanyi Cuba nave hijacked sensitive materials for the conduct of today’s election, Amambra State governor Willie Obiano has disclosed.
Obiano who arrived his polling unit at 11:10 for accreditation expressed Hope that the exercise will go well, but regretted that the card readers again failed to function in Anambra.
He said there have been reports of Ubah in collaboration with military men snatching sensitive materials and also beating up voters.
“I made contact with the REC, and he has accepted to send new SPOs and other officer to the places affected for voting to start.
“I have started making contacts to know where they took the materials to, and once we find that out we will storm the place and arrest the perpetrators.”
