A legal practitioner’s life was tragically cut short in a fatal auto crash along the Awka-Enugu expressway in Anambra State on Sunday night.
Just hours after laying his late mother to rest in the mortuary, the lawyer’s vehicle collided with a stationary articulated truck and crashed into a nearby drainage.
According to a kinsman, “The incident happened along the expressway after Access Bank.
The deceased thought the truck was moving, but realizing too late it wasn’t, he hit it, and his car veered into the gutter.”
The lawyer( whose name was just obtained as Barr Ututu) was described as the family’s breadwinner.
He had recently welcomed a newborn with his wife, whom he married in February this year.
His sudden demise has left his loved ones in shock.
A kinsman mourned, “He had just put his mum in the mortuary and was preparing for the funeral. Now, he’s joined her in the mortuary. Rest in Peace, Barr Ututu
“The incident serves as a stark reminder of life’s unpredictability and the importance of cherishing every moment.”
