The National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has said that President Ahmed Bola Tinubu values the Anambra State Governor,Prof Chukwuma Soludo, more than most members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Soludo was elected governor of Anambra State in 2021 on the platform of APGA.
Obigwe said Soludo is more useful to the President than most members of his (President’s) party( APC).
Obigwe said that was why the President is ensuring that Soludo is a member of almost all the sensitive committees the President created to proffer solution to economic problems.
Obigwe who stated these in a statement on Monday said those jostling to be governor of the state should better wait till 2030
He described those saying that Governor Soludo was running a clueless government as brainless .
He said the authors of such mischiefs were just making mockery of themselves and exposing the emptiness of their brain to Nigerians and the world at large.
Obigwe said,” One fact that can never be disputed is that Prof Soludo was already a shining star before his emergence as Anambra Governor and his mission in Anambra State is for the good of our state.”
He said some aspirants in the 2025 governorship race in the state were moving round the country with what he called stains all over their body, describing Soludo as a stainless person who could boast of having clean track record.
Obigwe said some supporters resort to blackmail would not stain Soludo in any way, adding that it was laughable for anybody to associate Soludo with the execution of shoddy job for Anambra people.
He said like their pay masters, some supporters were fabricating unbelievable stories to portray the Soludo administration in bad light.
The APGA Media Chief said,” In setting the record straight with regards to the Nnobi culvert project blackmail video that was circulated online I will advise the general public to avoid being misinformed because to be misinformed is to be deformed.
“Governor Soludo is not constructing any bridge at Nnobi rather he is executing a road project with a culvert at that Obiaja Nnobi and the rod they are using for the culvert is 16mm.
“The project is still ongoing and not yet completed and that is to say that the blackmail video being circulated online about the Nnobi project was fabricated by moronic supporters to score cheap political points.
“Governor Soludo is executing quality Road projects that are guaranteed to last for 20 years.The issue of his administration projects being substandard or of a poor quality does not arise.
“Another angle I will not fail to touch is the reference to Governor Soludo as a man that is running a clueless government by the moronic supporters.
“Such reference has shown that the author of the above referred blackmail piece is abnormal.Governor Soludo is not a member of APC but he is among those helping President Tinubu led government to fix our country’s economy.
“President Tinubu confessed openly during the 2023 Presidential election campaign that Governor Soludo is brilliant and that he will work with him.
“Today,President Tinubu is fulfilling that promise he made at Ekwueme Square by ensuring that Governor Soludo is a member of almost all the sensitive committees he created to proffer solution to our economic problems.
“This is how Governor Soludo is being useful to the APC led Federal government of President Tinubu.
“As for the fabricated story of Governor Soludo scheming to be Atiku Vice Presidential candidate in 2027, I will say that the June 12 old story can only emanate from a clueless camp that is already drowning in the murky waters of Anambra politics.
Continuing, Obigwe said ,They intend to use the fabricated story to pit Governor Soludo against President Tinubu has failed woefully and will forever remain failures.
“Governor Soludo is focused on his mission to turn Anambra into a reference point for good governance in Nigeria and Africa at large.The good people of Anambra are enjoying the taste of good governance from Governor Soludo administration and they will continue giving his administration the needed support for the transformation of our State.No vacancy in Anambra government house till 2030.
