The Chairman/CEO of ๐—ญ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€ Ltd Awka, Anambra State, ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—”๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ถ ๐—˜๐—ด๐˜„๐˜‚๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜„๐˜‚ has made a groundbreaking move by announcing his decision to pay his workers a minimum wage of N70,000.

While making the announcement, ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—˜๐—ด๐˜„๐˜‚๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜„๐˜‚ who is also the CEO of ๐—ฆ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—œ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—Ÿ๐˜๐—ฑ (producers of Anambra Rice) agreed that his decision aligns with that of ๐—š๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ป๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ผ’s developmental agenda which demonstrates great commitment to supporting employees during hard times.

Talking about implementation, he said that the new salary structure will take effect from November 2024.

๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—˜๐—ด๐˜„๐˜‚๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜„๐˜‚ is reportedly the first private sector operator in Anambra State and possibly other States to implement the N70,000 minimum wage which is aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship on his workers.

The company in a release said ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—˜๐—ด๐˜„๐˜‚๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜„๐˜‚’s proactive approach sets a positive example for other private sector operators, prioritizing workers’ welfare and contributing to the Nation’s development.

The release said It is on record that companies owned by ๐—–๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ณ ๐—”๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ถ ๐—˜๐—ด๐˜„๐˜‚๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜„๐˜‚ are well known for offering high-quality products and services at affordable prices.
